Exeter midfielder Watts signs contract extension

Caleb Watts has extended his Exeter City contract until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old midfielder signed a short-term deal in the summer which expired last week.
The former Australia Under-23s player joined Exeter from Southampton in the summer of 2023 and has made 30 appearances.
He has particularly impressed in recent weeks as he put his injuries during his time at St James Park behind him.
"I always think in January you look to see what you can bring in, but you also have to secure some players that were running out of contract," Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell told BBC Radio Devon.
"Caleb, with the form he has been in since mid-to-late November, was high on our list of priorities, so I'm delighted that he has signed."
Meanwhile Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Kamari Doyle has cut short his season-long loan.
The 19-year-old scored four goals in 22 appearances in all competitions this season, but the former England youth player has struggled to get into the team in recent weeks.
"Brighton were obviously worried, disappointed about the amount of game time he was getting," Caldwell added.
"We were in constant dialogue, Kami had a brilliant start for us and then kind of drifted out of the team and couldn't get the minutes that Brighton wanted him to get on loan.
"So they felt it was in their best interests and Kami's best interests to call him back and we agreed with that."
