Former United States striker Dom Dwyer has signed a new one-year deal with League One side Mansfield Town.
The 34-year-old scored four goals in nine appearances for the Stags after moving to the One Call Stadium in March on a contract that expired at the end of the season.
Dwyer was born in West Sussex and came through the academy at Norwich City before moving across the Atlantic and spending the majority of his career playing Major League Soccer with Sporting Kansas City and Orlando City.
The forward returned to England with the Stags as a free agent, having been released by the Oakland Roots in the United Soccer League, and now says he is "ready to kick-on".
"It feels like the right place for me and I'm really happy to extend my stay at Mansfield," Dwyer told the club website., external
