Young West Bromwich Albion defender Caleb Taylor has signed a new four-year deal with the Championship club.

The 21-year-old Albion academy graduate, who spent the last three months of last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, is now tied to The Hawthorns until June 2028.

Taylor has made nine Albion first-team appearances since making his debut in August 2021.

He also spent the entire 2022-23 season with Cheltenham Town, before making seven further League One appearances at Bolton from February to April 2024, but was not available for the play-offs.

“This is the club I’ve always wanted to play for," said, external Taylor. “Knowing that I’m going to be here for another four years is a great feeling."

"Caleb is an exciting young player," said Albion head coach Carlos Corberan.

"We believe he has a high level of potential. We will continue focusing on his development to guarantee he is another successful academy player to come through at our football club.”
