Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell says his team can end their recent poor league form if they "stick together".

The Grecians lost 3-0 at Charlton Athletic as they slipped to 18th in League One, three points above the relegation zone.

Last week's win at Cambridge United is City's only League One win since Boxing Day.

And despite excellent performances against Oxford United and Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, City have taken just five points from their last 10 league games.

"All I can do is help the players and support the players and for the next 15 games get the very best out of them," Caldwell told BBC Radio Devon.

"We've been in a difficult situation like this before, we know this level is very tough and we need people to stick together.

"We have to get some level of understanding that we've got 15 games, we've got a fight here.

"We've got a new group of players that we have we have added to in January and we have to work with these players and get the very best out of the next 15 games - and I'm very confident we can do that if everyone sticks together."
