Aaron Ramsey hopes he has put his nightmare start to life at Leicester City behind him.
The 22-year-old Burnley loanee was sent off against Oxford United on his debut and then had to serve a three-match ban.
But after scoring his first goal for Leicester in the 1-1 draw against Portsmouth on Saturday Ramsey feels he is getting his feet under the table at the King Power Stadium.
"It has been really good, I really enjoy it here. Obviously it didn't start very well but it was good to get a goal although it was disappointing we didn't get three points," he told BBC Radio Leicester.
"I'm coming back off a long injury so getting on the pitch is the most important thing for me. The more I can do that, the more I feel like me, the more match fitness I get. I'm glad to be out there, glad to pull on this shirt and can't wait for Tuesday (against Hull City)."
The former England youth international was sidelined for more than a year after suffering a serious knee injury against Arsenal in February 2024.
Now fully recovered, he is hoping to play an important role, external for Leicester as they push for an immediate return to the Premier League.
The Foxes are in fourth place but their inability to turn draws into wins has been a source of concern to the attacking midfielder.
"We're Leicester Football Club - for me we should be winning every game - and I'm sure the lads in the changing room would be saying the same and the manager," Ramsey added.
"We've had five draws in 10. But it's a very long season in the Championship and it's only October so there's a very long way to go."
