Doncaster sign Huddersfield defender Pearson

Matty Pearson scored 16 goals in 123 league appearances for Huddersfield Town

Doncaster Rovers have signed Huddersfield Town defender Matty Pearson on a two-year deal.

The 31-year-old will join the newly-promoted League One side on 1 July when his contract with the Terriers expires.

Pearson has also had spells with Halifax, Accrington, Barnsley and Luton.

"I'm looking for regular football and to play in a winning team and that is hopefully what Doncaster Rovers is going to give me," he told the club website.
