Luton Town defender Christ Makosso has been suspended for three games after admitting a violent conduct charge.

The 21-year-old was involved in an incident in the 76th minute of Saturday's 2-0 Championship win at Peterborough United, when he appeared to punch Carl Johnston.

It was not seen by the match officials but was caught on video.

Makosso will miss Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie against Championship club Coventry City and League One games against Bradford City and Wigan Athletic.

He joined The Hatters in January from Belgian club RWD Molenbeek in January and has made 15 appearances for the club so far.
