Former Wales international Edwards dies aged 87

Former Wales defender Trevor Edwards has died at the age of 87.

Edwards was capped twice, playing against Northern Ireland and East Germany in 1957.

He was also in the Wales squad for the 1958 World Cup but did not make an appearance in the finals in Sweden.

Edwards made 64 appearances for Charlton Athletic and 73 for Cardiff City during his club career before emigrating to Australia.
