Wolves are in advanced talks over a £21m deal for Fluminense's Brazil midfielder Andre.

The 23-year-old would cost an initial £18.5m plus up to £2.5m in add-ons.

Andre won the Copa Libertadores - South America's equivalent of the Champions League - with Fluminense in 2023 and has publicly admitted to being keen on a move to the Premier League.

He saw a move to Fulham fall through earlier in the transfer window.

Andre would be Wolves' sixth signing of the summer - joining England Under-21 midfielder Tommy Doyle, Portuguese winger Rodrigo Gomes, Brazilian defender Pedro Lima and Norway striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, who is on loan from Celta Vigo.

Wolves have lost their first two league games of the season, including a 6-2 reverse at home to Chelsea on Sunday.

Their next match is at Nottingham Forest on Saturday (15:00 BST).
