Hull City sign forward Akintola

David Akintola has previously played in Norway, Cyprus and Turkey

Hull City have signed former Caykur Rizespor forward David Akintola on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old Nigerian scored four goals in 45 league appearances for the club after joining from fellow Turkish Super Lig side Adana Demirspor in February 2024.

"It's a dream come true. Everybody in Nigeria wants to play in England. It's what we watch growing up," he told the club website.

"I'm ready to give everything and help the team to achieve big things."
