Cymru Premier club Connah's Quay Nomads have announced plans to build a new 4,000-seater stadium.

Nomads currently play at Flint Town United's Essity Stadium after leaving their Deeside Stadium home in 2023.

The club are hoping to build the new stadium in Queensferry in partnership with the Football Association of Wales and the Welsh Rugby Union.

It would serve as a home to the Nomads and rugby side Shotton Steel RFC, as well as hosting international matches.
