Jersey Bulls registered their biggest win of the season as they thrashed Chipstead 8-1 in Combined Counties Premier South.

The victory was their eighth successive win and 12th in 13 games as they remain unbeaten under Elliott Powell since he took over as manager in the summer.

The islanders are nine points off leaders Whyteleafe and second-placed Redhill with four and three games in hand respectively.

Luke Watson headed Bulls into an eighth-minute lead before Jonny le Quesne doubled the tally four minutes later.

Le Quesne got his second in first-half stoppage time to make it 3-0 at the break before three Bulls goals in a 13-minute second-half spell.

Watson converted a 58th-minute penalty before Melford Simpson pulled one back for the hosts soon after.

But Joe Kilshaw made it 5-1 after 63 minutes before Kieran Lester got Bulls' sixth with 19 minutes left.

The victory was wrapped up with two goals in quick succession with five minutes to go - first Kilshaw converted Harry Curtis' pullback before Sammy Sutcliffe finished from close range.

Bulls last scored eight goals in a game when they beat Sheerwater 8-0 in February 2022.

Their record victory came when they beat Horsham YMCA 10-1 in their first-ever FA Cup tie in August 2021.
