Bristol Rovers have recalled promising midfielder Kofi Shaw from his loan spell at Yeovil Town.
Rovers have activated their option to recall 18-year-old Shaw after being hit by a number of injuries in that area of the pitch with Grant Ward, Kamil Conteh and Romaine Sawyers currently absent, while Matt Butcher is unable to play against parent club Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday night.
Shaw made five senior appearances for the Gas at the start of the season, scoring once, before joining Yeovil temporarily in late October after signing a new deal that will run until 2027.
Former West Brom youngster Shaw was a regular for the National League Glovers, making 17 appearances and netting two goals.
After being handed his Yeovil debut against Maidenhead a few days after arriving Shaw only failed to feature in one game during his loan spell, against Woking last month, due to suspension.
