Barnsley have signed winger Caylan Vickers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 20-year-old joins having spent time on loan with Mansfield Town during the second half of last season, making 19 appearances and scoring twice.
Vickers came through Reading's academy and went on to make 22 senior appearances for the club before joining Brighton in early 2024 but he is yet to make a full first-team appearance for the Seagulls.
"Caylan is a player I've admired for some time. He's direct, intelligent, on the ball, and brings a real spark in the final third," boss Conor Hourihane said.
"We're looking to add youthful energy and creativity to our attack this season and Caylan fits that profile perfectly. I'm looking forward to working with him and helping him take the next step in his development."
