In part two of Monday's Q&A with Chelsea reporter Nizaar Kinsella, we focus on the club's plans for stadium redevelopment.

Mohammad asked: What is the progress on Chelsea's stadium plan? Is it looking like a move to Earl's Court or a Stamford Bridge expansion and how soon?

Nizaar answered: The Stamford Bridge expansion looks more likely but there is still some window of opportunity open on taking a site which is currently controlled by the Earl's Court Development Company (ECDC).

It feels probable that the ECDC will get planning permission at the end of 2025 to kill off any chances of Chelsea moving to a new site and selling the valuable plot of land at Stamford Bridge.

The limit to just one main option should focus minds to start the redevelopment of the current ground - given there isn't any other well-placed land available in west London big enough to host a massive stadium.

Club president Jason Gannon is leading a team planning the stadium project.

It wouldn't surprise me if we see some kind of formal announcement in 2026 to kick-start this process.

Come back to this page later on Monday for the final part of Nizaar's Q&A, which will look at Estevao Willian's impact.
