Chesterfield defender Gordon signs deal until 2027

Chesterfield defender Lewis Gordon has signed a new contract with the club until the summer of 2027.

The 24-year-old left-back joined the Spireites after leaving Bristol Rovers last summer and was a regular as Paul Cook's side reached the League Two play-offs.

"I'm very happy to sign a new deal. I enjoyed my first year here at Chesterfield and I am looking forward to the season ahead," he said., external

Chesterfield begin their League Two campaign against Barrow on 2 August.
