Callum Robinson and Rubin Colwill both scored for the Bluebirds in the opening half in the behind-closed-doors fixture at the TSG Training Centre.
Karamoko Dembele responded for the Championship side before half-time, with Jaylan Pearman netting in the second-half to ensure the contest ended level.
