Port Vale have signed New Zealand striker Ben Waine on a two-year contract.
The 24-year-old was a free agent having left Plymouth Argyle earlier this summer, after spending last season on loan at League One side Mansfield Town.
Waine started two league matches for the Stags last season and made a further 23 appearances in the third tier off the bench, scoring twice.
He has scored eight goals in 23 games for his country and played at last summer's Olympic Games in Paris.
"He's a young striker who will come in and give us something different, and another player who has experienced this level, as well as the international stage," Vale boss Darren Moore told the club website, external.
"We'll look forward to embedding him into the group and continuing his development here at Vale Park."
