Nelson Jardim hope there is "much more to come" from his Newport County side after they ended their six-game winless run in League Two with an emphatic 6-3 victory over MK Dons.

Hat-tricks from Bryn Morris and Bobby Kamwa earned the Exiles a seventh league win of the campaign - with Newport moving to within five points of the play-off places.

But Jardim feels his side can continue to grow in what is their first season under the Portuguese.

"We did have good wins but obviously you want to see games like that [against MK Dons]," said Jardim.

"The way I see football is what happened here today.

"We are still growing and trying to find our way but I hope there's much more to come and I'm sure there will be.

"We have to keep our feet on the ground and try to improve because I hope there's much more to come.

"I think we are doing well as a squad. I urge everyone to keep going and improve because football is ups and downs."
