Scott Robertson has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with League Two promotion hopefuls Notts County.

The 24-year-old midfielder arrived at Meadow Lane in January 2024 from Fleetwood Town after starting his career at Celtic.

He has featured in nine of the Magpies' 15 league games this season and has scored once.

Notts County director of football Richard Montague told the club website, external the new deal was a sign of Robertson's growing importance to the squad.

"We're delighted to reward Scott with a new long-term contract, which reflects our view that he's capable of growing with the club as we look to rise through the divisions," said Montague.

"Scott is also a fantastic professional who exhibits all the personal characteristics we look for in a player."
