If all goes to plan for Craig Bellamy, Wales will head across the Atlantic this time next year to compete in a second successive World Cup.
With 12 months to go, thoughts are already drifting towards the tournament which will be hosted jointly by the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Aaron Ramsey is leading the way, you might say, with the Wales captain heading to Mexico a year early to complete a move to Pumas UNAM.
Ramsey is not likely to be the only Wales player changing clubs this summer – and head coach Bellamy will have a keen interest in who goes where.
BBC Sport Wales assesses which members of Bellamy's squad might be on the move.
Goalkeepers
The lack of regular club football being played by Wales' various goalkeepers has been an issue in recent times.
Having been released by Leicester City this summer, Danny Ward has the chance to make a fresh start and has opted to join Wrexham.
But can he expect Championship game time at the Stok Cae Ras, or will Arthur Okonkwo remain Phil Parkinson's number one?
The Wales management team will watch with interest.
There was good news for Bellamy at the back-end of last season, when Karl Darlow replaced Ilan Meslier as Leeds United's first-choice keeper and helped the Yorkshire club clinch the Championship title.

There is speculation that Meslier could move on this summer – but Leeds are also being linked with goalkeepers as they prepare for a Premier League return.
Darlow, who has a year to run on his contract, must wait to see where he sits in the pecking order come August.
The next move for Wayne Hennessey, meanwhile, is yet to be determined.
The 38-year-old, who has not played a senior game since 2023, is out of contract at Nottingham Forest this summer, with the Premier League side stating last month that talks over his "future role at the club" were ongoing.
Defenders

Neco Williams has made 107 Nottingham Forest appearances since joining from Liverpool in 2022
Nottingham Forest had also been in discussions with Neco Williams, with the full-back agreeing a new four-year deal at the City Ground.
Fellow Wales defender Ben Davies was set to become a free agent last month, but Tottenham Hotspur exercised an option to extend his contract until the summer of 2026.
Connor Roberts is set for another crack at the Premier League with Burnley after extending his contract in March.
There have been some question marks about what comes next for Chris Mepham, however, after the Bournemouth centre-back helped Sunderland win promotion to the top flight during a loan spell with the Black Cats.
Mepham has been linked with another transfer this summer – but for the moment he remains at the Vitality Stadium.
The 27-year-old's contract had been due to expire in June, but he was included in the Cherries' retained list amid suggestions the club had triggered a one-year option in his deal.
Wales prospect Owen Beck is another player who could be on the move, with suggestions Liverpool will send the left-back out on loan – with Wrexham and Rangers among those linked – after his spell at Blackburn Rovers last season.

Ramsey's imminent move to Mexico looks likely to be the most intriguing made by any Wales player this summer.
After so many injury issues, there were some questions about whether Ramsey would carry on playing in 2025-26, particularly after he finished last season as Cardiff City's caretaker boss.
For a while it seemed the 34-year-old may make a permanent move into the Cardiff dugout, but instead he is set to become the first high-profile British player to try his luck in the Mexican league.
Sorba Thomas, who was impressive in Wales' most recent international camp, has already found a new home at club level this summer, having left Huddersfield Town to join Stoke City on a permanent basis.

David Brooks made 33 Bournemouth appearances in 2024-25, but was often used as a substitute
There has been speculation suggesting David Brooks could also be on his way to the Championship, though nothing has materialised yet.
West Bromwich Albion have been touted as one of the clubs interested in the attacking midfielder, who has a year to run on his Bournemouth contract and has suggested he wants more regular football.
Swansea City's Ollie Cooper is another Wales player who has been linked with a summer move, while it would not be a shock should Cardiff City's Rubin Colwill attract interest during the window given that he has won admirers in the past.
Leeds teenager Charlie Crew could head out on loan once more this summer having had a spell last season at Doncaster Rovers, while Matt Smith will be hoping a move to Wales could revive his international prospects after he joined Newport County.
And then there is Joe Morrell. Might the 28-year-old find a route back into football this summer having been without a club since leaving Portsmouth amid injury struggles in the summer of 2024?

Daniel James scored 12 goals for Leeds last season as Daniel Farke's team won the Championship title
Harry Wilson is staying at Fulham for at least one more year after the Premier League club triggered an extension clause in his contract in May – but the increasingly influential Wales forward has held talks over a longer-term deal.
While there is no suggestion that the likes of Brennan Johnson, Kieffer Moore or Liam Cullen will be on the move in this window, there has been some speculation about Daniel James.
The winger, 27, has only a year to run on his Leeds contract and has been linked with a move to Everton – but the latest suggestions are that he is likely to sign an extended deal at Elland Road.
Rabbi Matondo could be on the move once more, with some reports linking the Rangers winger with a switch to Turkey after his loan spell at Hannover 96 in the second half of last season.

After a spell at Stoke last term, Lewis Koumas is being tipped for another loan switch away from Liverpool, with West Brom, Norwich City and Sheffield United among those linked so far.
Tom Lawrence is looking for a new club after being released by Rangers, but one Welsh forward who will not be moving is Mark Harris, who agreed a new Oxford United contract in June.
