Barnsley sign Walsall goalkeeper Smith

Jackson Smith started his career with Wolves

Barnsley have signed Walsall goalkeeper Jackson Smith for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal.

The 22-year-old made 23 league appearances for the Saddlers in 2023-24 after joining from Wolves last summer.

“When a club of this size comes in and shows their interest in you – it’s just pure excitement," he told the club website.

“I can’t wait to get out there, meet everyone, and show what I am about.”
