Norwich first-team coach Andrew Hughes has left the club to become part of Steve Cooper's backroom team at Leicester City.
Former midfielder Hughes played for Norwich from 2005 to 2007 and returned to Carrow Road in 2021 as player loans manager.
He was promoted two years later to work under then head coach David Wagner, having previously done so at Huddersfield Town.
"The impact of his work has been clear for everyone to see, and his energy and enthusiasm are something we’ll all miss day-to-day at the training ground," sporting director Ben Knapper told the club website., external
"We wish him nothing but the best in his new challenge, and we’ve no doubt he’ll be a great success."
Hughes began his playing career at Oldham Athletic and, as well as his spell at Norwich, played more than 100 games each for Notts County, Reading and Leeds United.
Prior to rejoining Norwich, he worked as a coach for Sheffield Wednesday under Garry Monk from August to November 2020.
The Canaries, meanwhile, have signed defender Lucien Mahovo from Notts County on a two-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months.
The 19-year-old, who made one substitute appearance in League Two last season, will initially be part of Norwich's development squad.
