Four further arrests have been made in connection with a disturbance at Celtic Park during Falkirk's Scottish Premiership visit on 29 October.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged assault of a steward.

Three other men, aged 29, 27 and 23 have also been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and all four men are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in February.

A 30-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the incident last week.

After the match, Police Scotland issued a statement condemning "unacceptable disorder" from fans.

It led to Celtic banning the Green Brigade fan group for three home matches.

Police Scotland said its inquiries were continuing and appealed to anyone with information or video footage to come forward.
