It’s fair to say Norwich City supporters are buying into a new era at Carrow Road.

Dane Johannes Hoff Thorup is the man steering the ship and his brand of positive and attacking football has already caught the eye. In City’s last four games they have scored 12 goals and blown away the likes of Watford and Hull City.

The Canaries deservedly qualified for the Championship play-offs last season, but were humbled by a Leeds United side who went on to lose to Southampton in the final at Wembley.

David Wagner was the head coach who took them to sixth in the table, but his style of football was never warmly received by the Carrow Road faithful and his sacking was inevitable.

Sporting director Ben Knapper moved fast to bring in Hoff Thorup, who had taken unfancied Nordsjælland to the brink of the Danish Superliga title.

It’s a case of so far, so good for the new look Canaries.
