England manager Thomas Tuchel on integrating Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham: "Phil and Jude, both of them have not had a lot of training until yesterday. They will be on the pitch again today but for the first time and full intensity. It is always nice to have Phil around, he is a nice guy and like Jude, he is part of this squad and happy to be together."

England v Serbia (Thu, 19:45 GMT)

    England

England manager Thomas Tuchel on how close he is to knowing his starting XI for his system: "I know quite a lot for tomorrow but May and June I don't know so much. I hold myself back from knowing too much or pretending to know too much because so much can happen.

"Nobody wants injuries to happen but injuries can happen, players can pull out, players can drop in form and others can have form so I am very much open.

"I don't feel the pressure and the World Cup urge at the moment. I just feel the excitement and pressure for tomorrow. It is step-by-step and the next step is Serbia tomorrow."

England manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed that every member of his squad is expected to take part in this afternoon's training session, apart from Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.

Guehi is nursing an injury but was allowed to join up with the camp anyway.

Tuchel says his defender is experiencing a lot of pain, but no structural damage, so he will continue to be assessed.

If there is a sudden improvement then he could "realistically" play a role in the second game in Albania, but will not travel if there is no improvement.

  4. 'Now is not the moment to change the structure'published at 12:11 GMT

England v Serbia (Thu, 19:45 GMT)

England manager Thomas Tuchel was asked if Morgan Rogers and Jude Bellingham can play together: "I don't know. I guess so but not both in the same position obviously. Rather than finding a position for the best players to have them on the field, it is maybe better to put everyone in their best position and have a competition.

"At the moment the competition is between the two of them. They are friends so it is a friendly competition. They don't have to be enemies and hate each other. They are respectful and they fight for the same position.

"Can they play together? Yes, but in a different structure and now is not the moment to change the structure."

England manager Thomas Tuchel on Jude Bellingham's return to the group: "It has been good to have him back. There has been a good atmosphere in the last two days and everyone is happy to be in camp. It is competitive, the mood is light and everybody is happy to be in camp. The attitude and energy on the training pitch is where we want it to be.

"We have one more training session to go to be competitive tomorrow and Jude is a part of that."

England manager Thomas Tuchel on Marcus Rashford and if he worries his mentality will decline towards the end of his loan at Barcelona: "No. We are in November now and he is in a good place. He is in the squad because he deserves it. He needs to prove himself every three days at Barcelona which is good for us. He needs to prove himself in our camps which is the normal and right thing to do.

"There is still such a long time to go. My head isn't at the World Cup yet. We deal with everything when it comes to it. He is in a good place now, he is competitive and that's why he is here. He needs to prove the point in the next two matches."

  9. 'We will not start experimenting in this camp'published at 12:05 GMT

England manager Thomas Tuchel was asked if experimentation is over: "Do you feel I was experimenting in the last matches?

"I didn't feel that we were experimenting in the last two camps and we will not start in this camp. We take it serious, these are World Cup qualifiers - at home. We want to build and keep on going."

The only experiment I would like to see is trying out Bellingham and Foden as alternating 'false 9s'. We need to seek alternatives to Kane to reduce over dependence on him. Utilising the riches we have at no 10 may be a way.

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed the late switch in the billing there.

The word on the street was that captain Harry Kane would be the player joining Thomas Tuchel for today's news conference.

We are not sure whether that was duff information or if there has been a late change.

Either way, Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa has now been confirmed as the player to face the media.

  16. 'Immense' Bellingham and Foden recalled by Englandpublished at 11:50 GMT

England manager Thomas Tuchel says Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and Manchester City's Phil Foden have been "immense" for their clubs recently as he recalled the pair to his squad for next week's World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania.

Real Madrid's Bellingham was left out of Tuchel's squad for games in October, when the 22-year-old had just returned from shoulder surgery.

Manchester City playmaker Foden had not been selected in the past three England squads, with his last international appearance coming in March against Latvia.

  18. England's key role in Group K finalepublished at 11:46 GMT

    All kick-off times in GMT

World Cup qualifying Group K - England top on 18 points, Albania second on 11 points, Serbia third on 10 points, Latvia fourth on 5 points Andorra bottom on 1 point

England may have already qualified for the World Cup finals, but Marcus is correct - their final two matches in Group K will have a direct bearing on which country takes the play-off spot as runners-up.

Albania are currently in second place on 11 points, one point better off than third-placed Serbia.

Should Albania win away from home to Andorra on Thursday then they will secure a play-off spot if England beat Serbia at Wembley.

In that scenario, if Serbia manage a win or draw against England then qualification for the play-offs will go down to Sunday's final round of fixtures, when Albania host England and Serbia entertain fourth-placed Latvia.

    Final fixtures:

    Thursday, 13 November

    • Andorra v Albania (19:45)
    • England v Serbia (19:45)

    Sunday, 16 November

    • Albania v England (17:00)
    • Serbia v Latvia (17:00)

England hold the key to who else qualifies from Group K. They should play their best team and not experiment. That would be the decent thing to do imo.

  20. Win records in sight for Englandpublished at 11:43 GMT

    Noel Sliney
    BBC Sport

England can achieve two notable milestones over the coming days. Their current run of nine competitive wins in a row is one shy of the national record of 10 set between September 2014 and October 2015, which were all European Championship qualifiers.

Taking into account friendly internationals too, England have the chance to end 2025 with their highest win percentage in a calendar year since 1946.

Thomas Tuchel’s side would end the year with nine victories from 10 games by beating Serbia on Thursday and Albania on Sunday. If they manage that, it will be only the third time England have ended a year with a 90% or better win percentage since the start of the 20th century.

The only blemish on Tuchel’s otherwise flawless record so far is the laboured 3-1 home defeat by Senegal in a June friendly.

Table showing that England's 87.5% win percentage is their highest in a calendar year since 1946
