    Steve Sutcliffe
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

It is absolutely freezing in Manchester after a pretty wet and miserable morning. But that second goal has only added further cheer around the Etihad.

Bernardo Silva looked to be backing into the Leeds goalkeeper Lucas Perri as the ball was coming in and the visitors are not happy at all about it.

The goal stands but that was a ridiculously long VAR check.

    Sunderland 0-2 Bournemouth

Reinildo Mandava stretches his leg across Alex Scott but the Bournemouth man takes the bait.

VAR will be taking a look regardless but I can't imagine this gets overturned.

This is far too easy for Manchester City.

A finish from point blank range by Josko Gvardiol after a header by Nico O'Reilly.

    But what's this?

Moments later, VAR gets involved and is checking for an offside.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:24 GMT

    Sunderland 0-2 Bournemouth

Alex Scott NAILS Granit Xhaka - leaving the Sunderland skipper in a heap.

The referee opts for the yellow card and rightly so. Never a red.

    Midway through the first half.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has yet to make a serious save.

    Brentford 0-0 Burnley

Mikkel Damsgaard looks to be the danger man here. He picks the ball up around 20 yards from goal, skips inside and hammers his effort over the top.

    Man City 1-0 Leeds

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is brilliant from James Justin!

The ball was coming towards Phil Foden seven-yards out and he thought he had scored, but Justin just threw himself in and made a brilliant block out of nowhere.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:21 GMT

    Sunderland 0-2 Bournemouth

Evanilson spins Omar Alderete on the half way line and the Sunderland man has no option but to take Evanilson out.

    As cynical as you like.

  12. 'Aaronson has been a little lightweight'published at 15:21 GMT

    Man City 1-0 Leeds

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leeds United fans feel that Brenden Aaronson has been a little lightweight this season. He hasn't had the goals and the assists to his game either.

Dan James and Brenden Aaronson are different types of players though. Aaronson is busy and will always try to knit things together, but James is more direct.

    Man City 1-0 Leeds

    Steve Sutcliffe
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Leeds are looking to find Dan James over on the right at every opportunity.

The 28-year-old has not started a Premier League match for Leeds since 30 August, but he has blistering pace and has previous when it comes to giving Manchester City problems, particularly during his time at Manchester United.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:20 GMT

    Man City 1-0 Leeds

    So nearly 2-0.

Phil Foden's goal-bound attempt is blocked before Nico Gonzalez's follow up is deflected behind by James Justin.

Man City are coming at Leeds in waves.

  15. Postpublished at 15:20 GMT

Igor Thiago has his hands on his head after scooping one wide from inside the box. He's brilliantly picked out by Mikkel Damsgaard but the in-form striker puts it wide.

Granit Xhaka of Sunderland reactsImage source, Getty Images

Roefs has come out to try and intercept the ball in his own half and Adams saw him and lobbed him from about 40 yards out!

But it was one error after the other from Sunderland, right after the first decision to play the ball short [from the initial corner] in these conditions. Led to an amazing goal for Bournemouth but a poor goal to concede and now two nil down in 16 minutes.

  19. Postpublished at 15:18 GMT

    Brentford 0-0 Burnley

Why has Hannibal Mejbri gone down there?

Scott Parker is probably asking the same thing.

  20. Postpublished at 15:18 GMT

    Man City 1-0 Leeds

More replays of Phil Foden's goal.

It's a lovely cushioned finish with his left foot which kisses the underside of the bar before crossing the line.

That was Foden's second Premier League goal of the season.
