    To be fair, Leeds have regrouped well since falling behind.

    It's all a bit scrappy out there but Leeds have enjoyed a spell of possession without managing to test Gianluigi Donnarumma.

    Semenyo's double movement caused the slip by the right-back and he's gone in behind, which he had done three or four times before that, and it's a great cross into to the box.

    Initially a fantastic save from Roefs but it's just the follow-up. A good finish.

    With the way the game started, there was always going to be a goal in the opening 10 minutes.

    What a start from Manchester City! A sharp finish from Phil Foden.

    You can imagine Leeds United manager Daniel Farke emphasising the need for his side to stay in this game before kick-off, but then quick-footed Manchester City strike with their first attack of the afternoon.

    A perfect start for them and a great response from that defeat at Bayer Leverkusen.

    Regis Le Bris is standing unmoved on the sideline with his hood up as the rain pours down in the north east.

    It's a blow to concede early but Sunderland have started this game well.

    When I was walking over to the Etihad Stadium earlier Manchester City's Under-18s were part way through a 6-0 win over Nottingham Forest in their Premier League North fixture.

    The way the men's first team have started suggests they have plenty of goals on their mind as well.

    That Phil Foden goal went in before scores of supporters in front of me had even reached their seats.
