An excellent move from Arsenal!

Beth Mead slips the ball to Alessia Russo, she cuts it back to Stina Blackstenius, but her effort ratchets off the crossbar.

Emily Fox bursts down the right-hand side and knocks the ball towards Caitlin Foord in the box, but it has just too much power on it and is out of reach of her teammate.

Better from Bayern.

Klara Buhl runs down the left, catches her marker off guard and feeds Lea Schuller on the edge of the box.

She gets an effort away but it doesn't trouble Daphne van Domselaar.

Arsenal are in control here and they haven't been perfect, giving the ball away a couple of times when they go forward.

Beth Mead tries to send a drilled delivery towards the penalty area but it's intercepted.

A lovely backheel from Beth Mead finds Alessia Russo as Arsenal build through the lines.

Russo plays it to Mariona Caldentey, but her effort from distance is a comfortable save for Maria Grohs.

This Bayern Munich team haven't got going yet. We know how good they can be.

They look a little bit rattled. Arsenal have done well to possess the ball higher up the pitch, and it's caught Bayern off guard a little bit.

Jovana Damnjanovic drives forward as Bayern have their first threatening attack of the game, but Arsenal recover to get into the right places and smother any possible passes the hosts' forward could play.

One corner goes in and is headed behind for another.

The next is played short and blocked behind for a second.

Beth Mead swings the third into the box but it's quickly cleared.

Good defending from the hosts. The ball falls to Alessia Russo in the six-yard area but a last-ditch sliding challenge knocks it away before she can test the goalkeeper.

Arsenal look switched on. They're threading the ball around nicely in the final third and getting into the right areas.

There has been some clear sloppiness from Bayern so far.

Brilliant from Arsenal. They've started on the front foot at a difficult pace to go to against a really good Bayern Munich team.

It's a lovely ball in from Katie McCabe. I think the goalkeeper should be doing a bit better there.

Emily Fox is like an unsung hero. She has been one of Arsenal's most underrated players since she came. She's been brilliant.

Arsenal have started on the front foot. I was intrigued to see the first 15 minutes and how they'd set their stall out. They're high pressing, like you can see.

I like the new format because it allows the top teams to play each other early on, like in this game.

Only a few minutes into this one and it's already been relatively open, both sides managing to get into decent positions in the others' third.

Bayern lose the ball at the back but manage to recover before Arsenal can do anything with it.
