Not a lot of scoring chances.
Everything in the middle part of the pitch is neat and pretty but when they get into the opposition's territory, they are both unable to pull the trigger.
Glenavon 2-0 Glentoran
What a scoreline we have at half-time at Mourneview Park where bottom of the table Glenavon lead title chasing Glentoran.
Davy McDaid opened the scoring with a well placed header from a Peter Campbell cross on the half hour before adding his second of the afternoon from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
The Glens have had the ball in the net twice but both efforts have been ruled out for offside.
Plenty then to ponder in both changing rooms during the break.
Glenavon 2- 0 Glentoran
Davy McDaid has just doubled Glenavon's lead from the penalty spot, but watch how he broke the deadlock at Mourneview against Glentoran.

From the last little period of play, it is no more than they deserve.
Glenavon look like they have a lot of energy now, the first goal seemed to spark something in them and it has been a joy to watch.
Glenavon 2-0 Glentoran
Into two additional minutes.
Carrick Rangers 0-1 Crusaders
What a well-timed goal for the visitors right on the stroke of half-time.
Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon Swifts
Referee Tony Clarke blows for the end of the first half, where it remains goalless.
Both sides have threatened in flashes. Kealan Dillon’s free-kick forced a fine save from Peter Morrison, the highlight, but neither has managed to find that crucial bit of composure in front of goal.
Davy McDaid (45 mins)
Davy McDaid scores his second goal of the afternoon from the spot to double Glenavon's lead after Paul McGovern was ruled by Glentoran keeper Andrew Mills.

There is no doubt that that is a penalty.
Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon Swifts
Two additional minutes to be played at the end of the first half.
Both sides are still searching for a bit of quality in the final third before the whistle.
Fraser Bryden (45 mins)
Right on the stroke of half-time, Crusaders take a deserved lead.
An initial effort zips across goal where Bryden meets the ball with his foot, Nathan Gartside somehow manges to swipe the ball away but referee Shane McGonigle awards the goal.
It will be interesting to see the replay of that one.
Bangor 0-1 Ballymena United
Watch Ballymena United take the lead against Bangor at Clandeboye Park.
The camera angle makes it difficult to decide definitively whether defender Reece Neale or United midfielder Kian Corbally got the final touch.
Watch: Ballymena United take the lead at Clandeboye Park
Bangor 0-1 Ballymena United
Referee Christopher Morrison brings a halt to a largely forgettable half, typified by a scrappy goal which sees the visitors just shading things at the interval.
Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon Swifts
Eric McWoods looks to be racing through on goal after a strong challenge on Danny Wallace, but Tony Clarke blows for a foul just as the striker breaks clear.
Jim Magilton is furious on the touchline, insisting McWoods won it cleanly.
Glenavon 1-0 Glentoran
Penalty to the home side on the stroke of half-time.
Glenavon 1-0 Glentoran
Twice in quick succession the Glens think they have levelled, only to be denied by the assistant's flag on the far side.
To be fair, both times the flag has gone up quickly and the visitors haven't really complained.
Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon Swifts
Gael Bigiramana takes aim from distance, his low drive skidding awkwardly toward Peter Morrison, who gathers at the second attempt.
Routine enough in the end, but a reminder for the Reds keeper to stay switched on.
