Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

If Manchester City win tonight they will move within two points of Arsenal at the top of the table before the Gunners play Brentford tomorrow night.

It's a chance for City to pile the pressure on their title rivals.

  2. Fulham's home comfortspublished at 18:40 GMT

Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

Fulham have won four of their last five home Premier League matches (L1), their only defeat in this run coming against table-topping Arsenal. The Cottagers are looking to win three in a row at Craven Cottage for the first time since December 2023.

  3. Bournemouth's dismal defencepublished at 18:38 GMT

    Bournemouth v Everton (19:30 GMT)

After a strong start to the season Bournemouth have slipped down the Premier League table and currently sit in 11th. Andoni Iraola's side are winless in their last four league games, losing three and conceding 12 in that run.

The Cherries' leaky defence has shipped the most goals (23) outside of the four teams at the bottom of the table.

  4. Everton's historic winless run at Vitality Stadiumpublished at 18:36 GMT

    Bournemouth v Everton (19:30 GMT)

Everton have never won an away league game at Bournemouth. In eight away games against the Cherries, they have drawn two and lost six - losing the last four in a row.

It's the most the Toffees have faced a side away from home without winning in their league history.

  5. 'The supporters have backed him big time'published at 18:33 GMT

    Bournemouth v Everton (19:30 GMT)

Thierno Barry thought he'd netted his first Everton goal on Saturday before the offside flag was raised.

The £27m striker has now gone 15 games without a goal for the Toffees but David Moyes is pleased with the fans for supporting Barry.

Moyes said: "What we've chosen to do is give him the opportunity to play and show what he can do. The supporters have backed him big time and it's given him great confidence. To get cheered by supporters, you have to do the right things and show willing. If you work hard enough, you'll be well accepted."

  6. Most one-sided fixture in leaguepublished at 18:31 GMT

Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

This fixture has been remarkably one-sided in the past 13 years. When Fulham lost 2-0 at Craven Cottage on the final day of last season, it was their 18th consecutive defeat against Manchester City.

It is the longest ever losing run by one English league side against another in all competitions. The streak includes 15 Premier League defeats, which is also a record in English league history.

The Cottagers have not earned a point against City since a 2-2 draw in 2011, last beating them in a 3-1 win at Etihad Stadium in April 2009.

  7. Haaland's goal droughtpublished at 18:28 GMT

Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

It seems ridiculous to call three matches without scoring a drought. Well, it is ridiculous.

But Erling Haaland's goal-scoring form this season has also been pretty ridiculous.

His 14 Premier League goals in 13 games this season mean his average goals per game currently sits at 1.12.

But he has now shot blanks against Newcastle, Leeds and Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

How many more would he have to not score in to make it a full blown malfunction?

  8. Team newspublished at 18:24 GMT

    Bournemouth v Everton (19:30 GMT)

Eighteen-year-old Veljko Milosavljevic gets a rare start in Bournemouth's defence as Marcos Senesi is suspended. Justin Kluivert also returns to the starting XI as the Cherries make four changes in total.

Alex Jimenez and Junior Kroupi are also in. Evanilson, Marcus Tavernier and Adam Smith are benched.

Bournemouth XI: Petrovic, Jimenez, Diakite, Milosavljevic, Truffert, Adams, Scott, Semenyo, Kluivert, Adli, Kroupi.

Substitutes: Dennis, Araujo, Soler, Evanilson, Smith, Tavernier, Hill, Unal, DaCosta.

Despite seeing his side lose 4-1 at home to Newcastle at the weekend, Everton boss David Moyes makes one change - Charly Alcaraz for Michael Keane who is not involved.

Everton XI: Pickford, Garner, O’Brien, Tarkowski, Mykolenko, Iroegbunam, Alcaraz, N’Diaye, Dewsbury Hall, Grealish, Barry.

Substitutes: Travers, King, Patterson, McNeil, Beto, Dibling, Aznou, Welch, Campbell.

There's two changes for Fulham as Sasa Lukic and Emile Smith Rowe come into the side.

Fulham XI: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Lukić, Berge; Wilson, Iwobi, Smith Rowe; Raúl Jiménez.

Subs: Lecomte, Reed, Cairney, Cuenca, Kusi-Asare, Chukwueze, Castagne, Kevin, King

Meanwhile, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola names an unchanged XI for the trip to Fulham.

Manchester City XI: Donnarumma, Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly, Nico, Bernardo, Reijnders, Foden, Doku, Haaland

Subs: Trafford, Stones, Ake, Marmoush, Cherki, Ait-Nouri, Savinho, Khusanov, Lewis

  10. 'Tough' game against 'exceptionally organised' Fulhampublished at 18:20 GMT

Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola expects Marco Silva's Fulham to once again be difficult opponents for his side at Craven Cottage.

"Marco has been there for many years and they always have been really tough games," said Guardiola.

"Their organisation is exceptional and, every year, I have a feeling that with the ball they are better. A tough, tough opponent.

"It's always so difficult for the opponent to break them up. It always has been in this beautiful stadium in London."

Guardiola confirmed Spain midfielder Rodri will not be available for Tuesday's game as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

A total of 23 Premier League players are one yellow card away from picking up a one-match suspension.

Footballers in the top-flight receive a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards in their side's first 19 matches.

After 19 games, the ban moves to 10 yellow cards. Players receiving 10 yellow cards prior to the conclusion of the 32nd game receive a two-match suspension.

But who is nearing a ban?

Of those in action tonight, six players are at risk of a ban including Manchester City duo Gianluigi Donnarumma and Bernardo Silva.

Everton midfielders James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam are also walking a suspension tightrope.

  13. 'The Cherries will edge it'published at 18:13 GMT

    Bournemouth v Everton (19:30 GMT)

    Sutton's predictions promo

This is a difficult one to start off with. Both teams suffered bad defeats at the weekend for different reasons.

Bournemouth let a two-goal lead slip as they went down 3-2 at Sunderland and have now lost three of their past four games.

At 2-2, Evanilson had a goal disallowed for offside when he tapped in a deflected cross which looked like it was heading in anyway.

I was trying to think back to whether I'd have done the same thing as a striker and, yes, I would. Single-mindedness is what I'd call it.

Everton have surely got to defend better than they did in their 4-1 defeat by Newcastle. I just didn't expect to see them capitulate like that.

Bournemouth have started leaking a few goals recently too, so maybe there is some hope for one of Everton's less-than-prolific strikers to finally find the net - but I actually think this will be quite tight and the Cherries will edge it.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

  14. 'No way City won't win this'published at 18:10 GMT

Fulham v Man City (19:30 GMT)

    Sutton's predictions promo

I am at this game for 5 Live. We had my predictions opponent Felix on the FPL Podcast last week and I know he will go for a Fulham win here - I really like him, and I enjoy listening to Tailenders, but I'm sorry to say he's going to get this prediction wrong.

Fulham's home form this season probably gives Felix some hope but their record against City is absolutely awful.

City have won their past 18 meetings in all competitions since 2012, which is the longest winning run by a team against any opponent in the entire history of English football, scoring 54 goals and conceding only seven.

I covered City against Leeds on Saturday and they got lucky, while away from home they have lost three times already.

With the run they are on against Fulham, however, there is no way they won't win this game.

    Sutton's prediction: 0-2
