Abdul Fatawu tries to curl one towards goal but it's deflected out for another corner.

Jannik Vestergaard is once again left to his own devices and gets contract but the ball is safely seen out of the box by Blackburn's defence.

The Dane is proving to be a real threat in the air. Do Blackburn need any more warning shots before it causes some actual damage?

Albion have been trying to get that early goal and put the pressure on.

They do look dangerous every time they go forward.

However, they have got to be careful about the amount of free-kicks they're giving away, it might be Sheffield Wednesday's best chance of scoring today.

    Norwich 0-0 Hull City

Another Norwich corner, another free header.

This time Ruairi McConville gets to the back post but his stooping header is wide.

How many more chances do the home side want?

This West Brom v Wednesday game has one of the craziest kit clashes I’ve seen in a while.

    Dan - Poole

We have just been discussing this ourselves Dan - it's very tricky to tell the difference from distance, especially in the sunshine.

    Norwich 0-0 Hull City

Norwich finding some space down both flanks.

A succession of corners earned by the home side, the last of which forces a decent save from Ivor Pandur from Shane Duffy's header.

Duffy gets free at the far post and his downward header is tipped over.

    Leicester 0-0 Blackburn

Ryan Alebiosu spots a line towards goal from outside the box and tries to thump one in.

Foxes defender Jannik Vestergaard isn't caught out though and sticks his leg out in order to intervene and see it diverted from its target.

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Wed

The home side are piling on the pressure in these opening minutes.

Owls goalkeeper Ethan Horvath comes and collects a cross into the middle and skipper Barry Bannan yells at him to just hold it to allow them to get out.

Mavididi does touch it, if he left it I think it would have gone in.

It's a great header, the keeper was never getting there. That's what you want to see from Vestergaard.

  9. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 12:39 GMT 1 November

    Leicester 0-0 Blackburn

Jannik Vestergaard's header from the Foxes corner is storming towards the net but Stephy Mavididi is wary of Rovers keeper Balazs Toth in the center of goal and gives it a little nod of his own to ensure it goes in.

He shouldn't have though as he's beyond the Blackburn defence and sees his goal chalked off for offside.

    Norwich 0-0 Hull City

    It's quiet around Carrow Road.

It will be interesting to see how Shane Duffy is dealt with by the home fans today - coming in for his first appearance of the season and having had a little spat on social media recently.

There are also some empty seats around the ground - not something that happens often here.

    Leicester 0-0 Blackburn

Leicester City have started brightly to match the blinding sun pouring down on the King Power.

Stephy Mavididi is found on the left of the box and he unwinds but Ryan Alebiosu twists to get a vital touch and see it out for a corner.

  12. Postpublished at 12:37 GMT 1 November

    Norwich 0-0 Hull City

Norwich are the only side in the EFL without a single point at home so far this season.

    They should be ahead.

Jovon Makama gets to the byline and cuts the ball back to the six-yard line but a stretching Josh Sargent can only guide the cross over the bar.

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Wed

First chances of the game go the way of the hosts.

Mikey Johnston is given too much time and space to get a shot away from 20 yards and Ethan Horvath has to be on his toes to get down and parry it away.

Moments later Isaac Price slices an effort wide after the away defence fail to deal with a cross into the box.

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Wed

Two thirds of the pitch at The Hawthorns is bathed in autumn sunshine.

It was a pretty wet morning in the West Midlands and it looks like lovely conditions for a game of Championship football.

The home side enjoying the lion's share of possession in the first three minutes.

On the passing of former West Brom assistant coach, Colin Addison:

It's really sad news, he was a tremendous character and tremendous coach. He was very professional in everything he did. I got on well with him and I'm really upset to hear the news.

He was a very good player when he played, don't forget that. A tremendous midfielder and brilliant player.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Henrik Pedersen makes two changes from the team that started the 2-1 home defeat by Oxford last week. Ethan Horvath is back in goal after Joe Lumley's emergency loan spell ended and Ike Ugbo takes Bailey Cadamarteri's spot up front.

Alfie Gilchrist makes his home debut for West Brom today and he was keen to show he meant business from the get go

Sheffield Wednesday's first week in administration has been a largely positive one.

Fans who had been boycotting the club have returned in such numbers that wages, so often delayed under the chaotic ownership of Dejphon Chansiri, were actually paid a day early this month and it is understood three interested parties have already shown the administrators proof of funds.

The reality is that the 12-point deduction they received last week, allied to their threadbare squad, means staying in the Championship is nigh-on impossible BUT that doesn't mean they wont go down without a fight.

West Brom's positive start to the campaign has come unstuck somewhat in recent weeks with three defeats from their past four.
