    Charlton 0-0 Swansea

It's one defeat in their past 20 home league games for Charlton.

Not a huge amount of action in the opening 20 minutes at The Valley.

    Oxford 0-1 Millwall

Millwall skipper Jake Cooper is always a threat from a set piece and he's on the end of a corner but misses the target with his header.

Oxford would do well not to offer him too many chances like that.

    Stoke 1-0 Bristol City

Bristol City have responded well to going down but they still haven't found their way to the net yet.

    Watford 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

It's been against the run of play.

It's a great ball across the face of the goal and there's no stopping the finish.

We've dominated the majority of the play but now we'll have to find a way back in this game.

    Well, well, well!

The home side take the lead against the run of play through Imran Louza's fifth of the season.

Boro would go level on points with leaders Coventry with a win today but, as it stands, they're down to third behind Millwall!

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Derby

Blackburn's impressive 2-0 win at Leicester earlier today means Sheffield United started this match four points adrift of safety and will end the weekend in the bottom three regardless of their result today.

How they need a fourth win of the season today.

    Southampton 0-0 Preston

    Dan George
    BBC Sport at St Mary's

The opening five minutes of this game have been fairly scrappy from both sides but over the past few minutes Southampton have started to build some momentum.

Leo Scienza has made a few bursting runs that have got his team up the pitch and encouraged the home crowd.

The rain is really pouring down at St Mary's but the travelling Preston fans that are tucked into the corner opposite me are in good spirits, cheering their side on.

  14. PENALTY SAVED!published at 15:11 GMT 1 November

    Stoke 1-0 Bristol City

    Gary Owers
Former Sunderland & Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

If you're the home side you want to get off to a quick start and Stoke have managed that.

I think City will be slightly disappointed with the defending on the goal.

This won't please the visiting fans.

Stoke City are the toughest team in the league to sneak a goal past but they will need to if they want to take at least a point after Divin Mubama puts the hosts ahead.

The Manchester City loanee is sitting right in front of the net and punts Junior Tchamadeu's cross into the net for an opener.
