Round 19 of the 2025 Formula 1 season heads to the Circuit of the Americas for the United States Grand Prix - which is also a sprint weekend - from 17-19 October.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen beat McLaren's Lando Norris and the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc to pole position for Sunday's race.

Verstappen also won the sprint race on Saturday after Norris and his team-mate Oscar Piastri crashed out on the opening lap.

Piastri still leads second-placed Norris by 22 points in the drivers' championship, but now Verstappen in third is just 55 points off the Australian with six races remaining.

The 56-lap grand prix starts at 20:00 BST.

What is the Austin weather forecast?

The FIA has declared the race in Austin a 'heat hazard', just like the Singapore Grand Prix last time out, with temperatures crossing the governing body's threshold of 31C on Saturday.

Sunday's grand prix, which starts at 2pm local time, is forecast to be dry and very warm, getting up to 29C.
