- Published
Antrim lost their second straight Division Four game after a narrow 3-9 to 1-13 defeat by Wicklow at Ahoghill.
Leighton Glynn's penalty helped Wicklow into an early six-point lead but the Saffrons fought back to trail 1-4 to 0-5 at the break.
Tomas McCann netted as Antrim moved ahead but CJ McGourty missed a penalty before James Stafford added a second goal for the vistitors.
Glynn scored another penalty as Wicklow held on for the victory.
Wicklow started with the wind at their backs and they made it count, scoring 1-3 before Antrim registered their first point through Niall McKeever.
However, the hosts continued their comeback with CJ McGourty firing over three points while McCann also got on the scoresheet.
It left Antrim just two down at the break and they were to have the wind advantage in the second half.
McCourty slotted over two points before McCann burst through and rifled into the Wicklow net as the Ulster side went in front.
The turning point came when McGourty's penalty was saved and Wicklow took full advantage with Stafford's turn and shot for the visitor's second goal.
The momentum was now with Wicklow and Glynn converted another penalty six minutes from time which proved enough to secure the victory.
