Ulster Ladies Senior Club Championship: Clann Eireann and Bredagh through to Ulster final

Bredagh forward Vivienne McCormack netted twice against Errigal Ciaran in Sunday's semi-final

Armagh champions Clann Eireann and Down side Bredagh will meet in the Ulster Ladies Senior Club Championship decider after winning their semi-finals.

Clann Eireann will make their first appearance in the final after easing to a 2-13 to 0-7 victory over Moneyglass.

Niamh Murray's early penalty and a goal from 15-year-old Aoibhin Donohue helped the hosts to victory.

Bredagh defeated Errigal Ciaran 4-8 to 1-8 as they made the final for the second time in three years.

The 2021 finalists led 0-5 to 0-4 at the break in Dunmoyle before goals from Laoise Duffy and Vivienne McCormack put them in in charge.

Errigal captain Claire Canavan netted to give the Tyrone team hope before McCormack completed her double and Eilish Ward hit a late penalty.

It was a one-side semi-final in Lurgan and Murray gave Clann Eireann the perfect start when she slotted a fourth-minute penalty into the bottom corner.

Clann Eireann had already registered 1-4 before Orlaith Prenter finally put the Antrim visitors on the scoreboard in the 22nd minute with the first of her six points.

Moneyglass trailed 1-6 to 0-3 at half-time and Clann Eireann continued to dominate in the second period with teenage forward Donohue rifling low into the net on 47 minutes.

In the Ulster Senior Club Camogie Championship, Antrim champions Loughgiel beat Derry's Slaughtneil in a low-scoring semi-final at Dunsilly to set up a decider against Down's Liatroim Fontenoys on 18 November.

Roisin McCormick and Caitrin Dobbin combined for all nine of defending champion Loughgiel's scores as they overcame their familiar foes 0-9 to 0-5.
