Fermanagh boss Kieran Donnelly will have to plan without three of his most experienced players for 2024

Fermanagh have been dealt a blow ahead of the 2024 season with experienced trio of Sean Quigley and brothers Ryan and Conall Jones opting out of the panel.

The county say all three players have "unavoidable work and travel commitments".

Roslea club-man Quigley previously stepped away from the panel in 2020 but returned the following season.

Derrygonnelly's Jones brothers also dropped out in 2021 before rejoining.

The brothers recently helped Derrygonnelly regain the Fermanagh SFC having relinquished the county title to Enniskillen Gaels last year.

Quigley, who made his county debut in 2011, was in fine form during the 2023 campaign, hitting three goals during the Ernemen's Allianz National Football League Division Three campaign.

"Ryan and Conall Jones along with Sean Quigley have confirmed to Fermanagh senior football manager Kieran Donnelly that they are unavailable to the Fermanagh GAA senior football team in 2024," read Fermanagh GAA's statement.

"Fermanagh GAA thank them for their services over the years and hope to see them back in the green jersey at some point in the years ahead."

Erne boss Kieran Donnelly has already lost Ciaran Corrigan, who will spend 2024 in Australia.

Fermanagh will compete in Division Two in 2024 having finished top of the third-tier to earn promotion earlier this year.

Donnelly's side will then host Armagh in the Ulster Football quarter-finals at Brewster Park with the winners to face either Down or Antrim.
