Dean Rock: Eight-time All-Ireland winner announces Dublin retirement

Eight-time All-Ireland winner Dean Rock has announced his Dublin retirement after a 16-year inter-county career.
The Ballymun Kickham's forward made his debut in 2012 and won his first All-Ireland medal the following year.
He went on to win another seven titles and became the county's record points scorer.
"The time has come for me to hang up the Blue jersey and end my playing career with the Dublin senior football team," Rock wrote.
"I now step aside fulfilled, knowing that I made the most of the opportunity that was given to me."
Rock, 33, also won 12 Leinster titles and six National League crowns with Dublin, earning All-Star awards in 2016, 2017 and 2020.
An expert free-taker, Rock - whose father Barney also played for Dublin - famously scored the winning point in the 2017 All-Ireland decider against Mayo and scored a first-minute goal against the same opposition in the 2020 final.
"To my own club Ballymun Kickhams, I am forever grateful to all the managers, coaches & players who nurtured my love of the game," added Rock, who came on as a second-half substitute in last year's All-Ireland final win over Kerry.
"I look forward to working alongside all club members in helping to develop the next generation in the years to come.
"To the Dublin supporters, thank you for always bringing the noise & unwavering support wherever we went. It was always a great source of strength to me & the team."
