Get Inspired: FA People's Cup Disability Festivals announced
- Published
Disability footballers are taking centre stage during spring as they battle it out to reach Wembley.
Over 30,000 people took part in the first round of the mainstream strand of The FA People's Cup - and now it's disability football's turn to play for a place at the finals in Manchester, after which winners receive tickets to the FA Cup final itself.
The festivals are ideal for lower ability players, and are perfect for anyone who hasn't played before or dusted off their boots in a while.
"The FA has one of the best disability football programmes in the world so it's great to be a part of The People's Cup" says Jeff Davis, Elite Development Manager for Disability Football at The FA.
"Hopefully it will inspire some players to play disability football on a more regular basis."
