Ireland keeper Harte wins FIH Hockey Stars award

Ireland captain David Harte has been named Goalkeeper of the Year in the FIH Hockey Stars 2015 awards.

The 27-year-old, who has won 154 internationals caps, was a key figure in Ireland's qualification for the Olympic Games in Rio this summer.

Harte was selected as best goalkeeper in the World League Semi-Final and EuroHockey Championships, where Ireland won a bronze medal.

He plays for club sides Kampong in the Netherlands and Dabang Mumbai of India.
