Champions Trophy: GB defeat by USA all but ends medal hopes

Great Britain women's hopes of a Champions Trophy medal are all but over after a lacklustre display saw them lose 2-0 to USA in London.
After a dull opening quarter, GB dominated the next period, with Lily Owsley and Alex Danson going close.
However, Emily Wold and Kathleen Sharkey scored in the third quarter to earn the USA's first win at the event.
"We're really disappointed we haven't given our crowd something more," said GB's Helen Richardson-Walsh.
"Ultimately we're preparing for Rio and I think this will put us in very good position for the Games because it's a real test of our character."
Thursday's defeat means GB must beat Australia by three goals or more on Saturday in order to reach the bronze medal match.
However, they have only scored twice in the competition so far - both in the opening fixture against Argentina.
Sunday's gold medal final sees World League winners Argentina take on reigning Olympic champions the Netherlands.
