Wales play three matches against Scotland over Easter weekend

Wales Women were left frustrated after losing their Easter Series opener against Scotland in Cardiff.

Eva Wadsworth put the Scots ahead just before half time at Sport Wales.

Wales pushed for an equaliser, but strikes from Fran Lonergan and Zara Kennedy earned victory for Scotland - with Livvy Hoskins' late effort being a consolation for the hosts.

The sides meet again in the Welsh capital on 31 March (14:00 GMT) and 1 April (10:00 GMT).

Wales head coach Kevin Johnson said: "It's frustrating to lose but it's the start of our campaign.

"I saw enough in some of the parts of the performance that pleased me and the trick is now to find more of those moments, be more consistent and try and find a bit more possession in areas that are going to hurt Scotland."
