GB men beat Belgium after women humbled by Germany

Great Britain men won their second Hockey Pro League match of the week with a 3-1 victory over Belgium.
Two goals from Sam Ward and one from Zachary Wallace mean England stay fourth in the table.
Wallace scored the winning goal against Germany on Tuesday and was once again on the scoresheet after just three minutes, before Sam Ward converted a penalty corner.
Belgium's Alexander Hendrickx made for a nervy finish, scoring a penalty corner himself, before Ward's second goal two minutes from time regained GB's two-goal advantage.
However, Great Britain's women were beaten 4-1 by Germany earlier in the day with Giselle Ansley's penalty corner only a late consolation.
It is their ninth loss of the season in regular time, leaving them down in seventh in the table.
GB men are back in action against Germany on Friday (15:30 BST) while the women will have to wait until Saturday before their next encounter against Belgium (15:30).
