England and Great Britain men's hockey head coach Paul Revington has stepped down from his role and will be replaced by Zak Jones on an interim basis.
Revington, 51, was appointed in April 2022 and guided England to silver at the 2023 European Championships and up to second in the world rankings for the first time in more than a decade.
England were also bronze medallists at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022, but Great Britain were eliminated at the quarter-final stage of the Paris Olympics last month.
"While this is the right time for me to step aside, I have full confidence in the squad’s future," said the South African.
"I wish them all the very best. It has been a privilege to work with such an exceptional squad of players and staff team over the past two and a half years."
England hockey chief executive Nick Pink added: “We are immensely grateful to Paul for his outstanding leadership over the past two and a half years, and it's with a heavy heart that we see him step down.
"He has introduced an exciting style of play that has put England and Great Britain firmly on the global stage."
Welshman Jones now reprises the role he previously held for a three-month period prior to Revington's appointment, as the search for a permanent successor gets under way.
