Wales begin EuroHockey campaign with Switzerland win

Wales men began their EuroHockey Championship II campaign with a 3-1 win over Switzerland in Lousada, Portugal.
Jack Pritchard and Rhys Bradshaw gave Wales an early lead in the first period, with Gareth Griffiths' penalty corner making it 3-0 by half-time.
Lukas Hengartner pulled a goal back for Switzerland but Wales held out. They face Scotland in their second game on Monday (17:30 BST).
In the women's competition in Gniezno, Poland, Wales also faced Switzerland later on Sunday with captain Beth Bingham's strike from the penalty spot enough to earn a 1-0 win.
Wales are next in action on Monday against Czech Republic (14:15 BST).
