The Belfast Giants secured their second win over Scottish opposition in 24 hours as they beat Fife 3-1 in Sunday's Elite League/Challenge Cup clash.

Will Colbert put the Giants ahead in the first period before Andrew Fournier doubled the advantage in the second period in Fife.

Derek Keller pulled a goal back in the final period but Daymen Rycroft's goal ensured Belfast's win.

The Giants defeated Braehead 3-2 in Saturday's Cup game in Belfast.

Robby Sandrock edged Belfast into the lead in Saturday's game but Ash Goldie levelled matters before the end of the first period.

Colbert scored a powerplay goal and Greg Stewart did likewise for his third of the season for a 3-1 advantage.

The Scottish club scored near the end through Jade Galbraith.

Belfast will be next in action in Saturday's league game against Nottingham at the Odyssey Arena.
