The Belfast Giants completed back-to-back Elite League weekend away wins as they beat Doug Christiansen's Sheffield Steelers 4-2 on Sunday evening.

After Sunday's 2-0 win at Hull, Jeffrey Szwez, Robby Sandrock, Colin Shields and Dustin Whitecotton were on target for the Giants in Sheffield.

Leaders Belfast led 2-0 and 4-1 as they dominated the contest against the side managed by the previous Giants coach.

Steven Goertzen and Jeff Legue scored Sheffield's goals.

Belfast's win maintained their four-point lead over Dundee Stars at the top of the table and moved them seven points ahead of Sheffield.

In Saturday's game in Hull, Whitecotton scored in the first period with Calvin Elfring netting in the second for Paul Adey's table-toppers.
