Belfast Giants cruise to victory over Dundee Stars

Belfast Giants secured a comfortable 4-1 victory over Dundee Stars in Sunday night's league and Challenge Cup game.

Jeffrey Szwez put the Giants ahead in Scotland after four minutes and the Elite League leaders added two more goals in the first period.

Kevin Phillips and Craig Peacock were on target to make it 3-0 before Nico Sacchetti pulled one back for the hosts early in the second period.

Chris Higgins sealed Belfast's win midway though the second period.

The Giants are back in action away to Nottingham Panthers on Tuesday night, followed by a league game against Edinburgh Capitals at the Odyssey Arena on Saturday.
