Elite League leaders Belfast Giants have completed back-to-back wins over their nearest title rivals Braehead.

After Friday's 4-1 win in Belfast, Paul Adey's men achieved an exciting 6-5 win on the road on Saturday.

Kevin Bergin scored three goals for the Clan in the second period to leave the Giants trailing 5-4.

But Kevin Saurete got his second of the night for the Giants before Jeffrey Szwez popped up with the winning score 8.15 into the final period.

Braehead's other scorers were Ash Goldie and Tristan Harper while the other Belfast players to find the net were Dustin Whitecotton, Gareth Roberts and Craig Peacock.

Belfast's busy schedule continues with home games against Hull on Monday and Nottingham on Thursday.
