Elite League: Nottingham Panthers 3-7 Cardiff Devils

Cardiff Devils finished their regular season with a flourish as they won 7-3 at Nottingham Panthers.
The visitors romped into a five-goal lead by the third period through Justin Crandall, Jake Coughler, Josh Batch, Coughler again and Josh Waller.
Panthers staged a thrilling comeback, with Aaron Thow, Mark Matheson and Christophe Boivin on target.
But Devils pulled away again as Trevor Cox and Cole Sanford hit back to cement a third-place Elite League finish.
It capped a fine weekend for the Welsh side, who had beaten Dundee Stars 4-1 at Ice Arena Wales on Saturday.
Devils are next in action at home in the Play-off quarter-finals on Saturday, 23 April when they face Glasgow Clan (19.30 BST), with the return leg in Scotland the following evening (18.00 BST).
Meanwhile, Great Britain head coach Pete Russell has selected five Devils players in his 25-strong squad for the 2022 IIHF World Championship in Finland.
Forward Josh Waller gets a first call-up, alongside club mates Josh Batch, Mark Richardson, Ben Davies, and Sam Duggan.
The 16-team tournament takes place in Tampere and Helsinki from 13 to 29 May.
GB are based in Tampere and will face Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden and the USA in Group B.
